Unable to upgrade Java on VIP Enterprise Gateway

Resolution

The product is compiled with the Java version it is shipped with for compatible libraries. Attempting to upgrade will create an unstable VIP Enterprise Gateway. Manually upgrading JAVA components in VIP Enterprise Gateway is not supported.
