CrowdStrike Falcon on macOS breaks WSSA connectivity

Issue/Introduction

If you have CrowdStrike Falcon versions 6.43.15601, 6.44.15702 and 6.45.15801 on a macOS 12.5.1 machine, the WSSA agent will lose connectivity.

Environment

• Web Security Service
• WSS Agent 8.1.1+
• CrowdStrike Sensor version  6.43.15601, 6.44.15702, 6.45.15801 
• macOS Monterey 12.5.1+

Resolution

It has been suggested to roll back to CrowdStrike Sensor version 6.42.15503. After rolling back, the endpoint's connectivity was restored.
