Issue/Introduction

Customer encounters a not authorized SECU005E error message when they attempt to execute a SYSVIEW command. 

The steps listed in the Resolution section of this Knowledge Doc will ALLOW the Customer the ability to execute the SYSVIEW command in question.   The command in question

was most likely set to FAIL which resulted in the not authorized error message. 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : SYSVIEW

Resolution

Request that a SYSVIEW ADMINISTRATOR log into SYSVIEW and issue these commands:
 
> SECURITY
> Select the User Groups
> Issue WHERE UserId   (UserId being the user who needs access to the commands)
> Select the Group the User belongs to.
> Select the Commands Section
> Perform a Find on the command in question.
> Insure that the access is set to Allow and not Fail  
> Once Allow is selected, log out of SYSVIEW and back in and verify that the Userid can run the command in question.
