DYL-142E error on VISION:Results report.
The DYL-142E error indicates that a report line has been defined with more characters than the print line as defined by the default of 132, or explicitly specified by the REPORT nnn WIDE command.
In these cases the source of the error is usually the setting of the DYLINSTL parameter: OPTPRDG.
OPTPRDG controls the default setting for OPTION PRINTDIGITS which affects LIST statements. The Y default allows printing of very large numbers, 21 digits and 9 decimal places. Setting OPTPRDG to N forces the output to format numbers within the limitations of VISION:Results r2.2 and earlier, 10 digits and 5 decimal places.
Review the release 5.0 Default Options page, if you see OPTNOPRDG, then OPTPRDG was set to N in release 5.0 and should be set to N in release 6.0 as well.
New DYLINSTL parameter EDALIGN also may affect the print line width, but the default is N, so this is less likely to be the cause of this problem, but it should be checked.
