High memory usage on web prevent servers growing exponentially

Issue/Introduction

Getting very strange High memory usage on web prevent servers. 

Java OpenJDKplatform memory continually grows until it consumes all memory and the server crashes.

It is consuming more memory than is actually allocated to the service.

As per the Guidelines for increasing system memory on detection servers in the Symantec™ Data Loss Prevention Tuning Guidelines for Inspecting Large Files

In System > Servers and Detectors > Overview > Server / Detector Detail >  Advanced Settings you should Set MessageChain.NumChains and MessageChain.CacheSize equal to the CPU cores of the detection server.

And then set BoxMonitor.FileReaderMemory Xmx according to the table on page 5 which in this case was 16 or 1 GB per numchain for 16 cores
