Issue/Introduction

Running Log Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PLA) detailed report on a data sharing system which fails with LAE0396E error:
LAE0396E Unexpected sequence of log records

Resolution

In this case specified LOGSRC   = (MEMBER(ssid)), which only works if all the data is on this one data sharing member. 
Changing the LOGSRC card to LOGSRC=(GROUP) resolved the problem.  This is a better choice when running under a data sharing environment.
