TIRM633E: Error connection to database failed.

Resolution

According to GEN documentation for DB2, the parameters contained in the AEENV file follow the specifications below.  The length includes a null delimiter so the actual length is 8 characters.

DB2 user ID  UID char(9)
DB2 Password pwd char(9)
DB2 database name dbname char(9)

Make sure UID parameter is no longer than eight characters.  It should be either eight characters or less.
