Spectrum 21.2.10 not discovering all frame relay connections

Issue/Introduction

We noticed that Spectrum is not discovering both Frame Relay connections correctly in 21.2.10.  In a much older Spectrum 10.1, Spectrum did not have any issues in discovering both Frame Relay connections from the same DLCI.  What can we do to have Spectrum discover these connections correctly.

Environment

Release : 21.2.10

Component : Spectrum Discovery

Cause

Issue with Linux only, Windows is able to discover these connections properly.

Resolution

As a workaround you can do the following

1. Right Click on both devices and select reconfiguration - Rediscover SNMP Mibs

2. After complete wait 1 minute.

3. Right Click again on primary device and select reconfiguration - discover connections

4. Both connections are made almost instantly.

 

 

Additional Information

It appears that by doing Reconfiguration - Rediscovery SNMP mibs that the Frame Relay information is being updated manually in Spectrum and this allows for both connections to be made.  It appears that this only happens in Linux and is not seen in Windows.
