Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system client machine not showing as applicable for errata

Environment

Patch Management For Linux 8.x

ITMS 8.x

Cause

Perl is missing in the RHEL client machine.

Resolution

The resolution for this to Install "Perl (v5.6. or later )" on the affected client machine.
Then, run the Assessment scan on the affected client machine to reflect the changes to show correct data in the "compliance by errata".

Additional Information

Note: Starting from 8.1, Patch Management Solution for Linux requires Perl version 5.6 or later to be installed on your Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, and CentOS Linux computers.
$PATH environment variable must have the correct reference to Perl location.
