Issue/Introduction

Customers would like to know if the DLP browser extensions for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge have been re-designed using manifest version 3 as manifest version 2 will be EOL in January 2023.

Environment

DLP 15.7.x, 15.8.x and 16.0

Resolution

New browser extensions for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge based on manifest version 3 have been released and are now available on the Chrome and Microsoft web stores.

Please refer to the below table for extension details for DLP versions 15.7.x, 15.8.x and 16.0

As DLP 15.7.x will be EOL in December 2022, the Google Chrome extension for this version will not be updated to manifest version 3. Please refer to the below EOL notification for DLP 15.7.
