APM for SSO 13.3.1 install creates an empty 'IntroscopeCAPIConfig.xml' file.

Issue/Introduction

The installation of apmsso-installer-unix-13.3.1-linuxAMD64.bin does not populate the entries in the siteminder/config/IntroscopeCAPIConfig.xml file. 

Instead, the installation creates an empty file 'IntroscopeCAPIConfig.xml'.

 

 

Environment

Release : APM for SSO 13.3.1

Siteminder Policy servers 12.8.06

RHEL 8, 

 

Cause

Defect (an ER / User Story has been raised : US836669 )

Resolution

Per Engineering as a workaround till the issue fixed. 

 To install 'yum install python2-lxml'  and run the below commands.

As lxml is not installed tostring() 

 

1. source ../siteminder/ca_ps_env.sh

2. Go to scripts folder in apmsso installer path and run :  python caapmsso_installation.py --store \"localhost\",\"9000\",\"7070\"
