Issue/Introduction

We are getting the following message from Health Checker since the upgrade to CA 7 r12.1

0080 *HZS0420E 2 CHECKS HAVE BEEN FOUND FOR WHICH AT LEAST ONE MATCHING 484
0080  POLICY STATEMENT HAD A CONFLICT WITH THE CHECK VALUES.                
0080  THE POLICY STATEMENTS WERE NOT APPLIED TO THOSE CHECKS.               
0080  THE FIRST CASE IS                                                     
0080  CHECK(CA_7,CA7_ONLINE_ACTIVE_TASKS),                                  
0080  MATCHED BY POLICY STATEMENT CA70001                                   
0080  THIS CHECK HAD A DATE CONFLICT.                                       

Where is the update made for the DATE on the HZSPRM00?

Resolution

We have a policy statement in the IBM health check PARM member, HZSPRM00 of SYS1.PARMLIB, for this health check.  When we get these messages it means that the date in this policy is older than the date in our health check module.  You will need to update the date (I would say to put in today's date) and then refresh the IBM health checker and the message will stop.

After the DATE has been updated and saved, issue the following commands:

F HZSPROC,SET,PARMLIB=(xx) where xx was the specific suffix for the HZSPRM parmlib member above
F HZSPROC,REFRESH,CHECK=(*,*) or refresh the single check causing the issue
