Blank JCL JOB card after upgrading from Gen 8.5 to 8.6.

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading CA GEN from 8.5 to 8.6, there was an issue with the JCL JOB cards being blank.

 

Environment

Release : 8.6

Component : Gen Host Encyclopedia

Resolution

The JCL Jobcards are USER defined by going through the following panels:

5. Environment specification
    2. Batch JCL maintenance

1. Update JCL for encyclopedia functions           
2. Update JCL for report printing                  
3. Update JCL for Data Definition Language function
4. Update JCL for generated batch jobs             
5. Update JCL for background code generation

then use F6=Save.
