We are upgrading agents from version 11.3.06/07 to 12.0 through Agent inventory however facing error in agent stage step.
Either we are getting staging failed or staging timed out error.
Staging timed out: Unable to complete the action within configured duration. Please check the communication between agent and Web UI server.

Check the agent host's spool directory.

Most often the issue is that the agent cannot resolve the wcc host by the name it was passed.
Confirm the agent can resolve and ping the WCC host by its short and FQDN.
If it cannot work with the system administrator or network team to allow it.
Example: updated the c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file with the short and FQDN name and IP address for the WCC host.
Additional note:
The name WCC passes is based on the wcc.host= entry in the
/opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/wcc/data/config/application/config/resources/connection.properties file.
Users may also add these two lines in agentparm.txt file to upgrade the agent on Windows platforms.
