Transformer using Java 64-bit support (PROGRAM=ESFD2ES6) 

Errors seen in ESFLOG similar to the following:

Environment

z/os, spool,14.0, acf2, java transformer, group, omvs segment, uss, directory, case, mismatch, upper, lower, invalid

Cause

- While confirming that the OMVS segment is defined correctly, we found that the USS HOME directory is upper case while the directory defined in the OMVS segment is lowercase.

- Security GROUP name of the Java transformer task was incorrect resulting in incorrect security access level for the Java Transformer task.

Resolution

- Corrected the mismatch between UPPER & LOWER case characters for the OMVS segments USS HOME directory.

- Changed the group of the Java transformer task 

- After doing a ACF2 rebuild, CAIQD2E task got the correct level of access.

- Here is the work done in ACF2:

- Gave UID 0 and changed the GROUP field on the ID.
- After that I ran - 

  F ACF2,REBUILD(USR),CLASS(P),DIV(OMVS)

  F ACF2,OMVS

- Also cleared the address space for the ID
