Editing the NCM script in Spectrum UI fails with an error message

0x3627ce5: You do not have a user model in landscape Script_Content, or the model also exists on another landscape which does not contain your user model. 

 

 

Environment

Release : 21.2.x

Component : Spectrum Applications

Cause

Same script is used by multiple devices families which are there in different landscapes but not in MLS.

Resolution

To Avoid the error two possible solutions

First Solution

Right click on the device family and edit the family. ensure MLS landscape is included under landscapes.

Second Solution

1. First export the script which you want to edit

Click on the device family and expand the script which you want to export.

In this example I am taking NCM Open SSH Device Family and Capture Running configuration script

Click on Export and give a name

Click on Save.

2. Create a new device family for the required landscape

Click on Landscapes and select the landscape 

3. Import the script

Under the device family select the Capture Running Configuration Script

Click on Set 

Under select script window, Click on Create button

Now click on Import

Choose the exported script and click on Open

Now click on Ok 

Now select the imported script and click on OK

Ensure you give the Additional Script Parameters and Error Code Mappings if any from where you exported in this imported script also.
