Issue/Introduction

How to prevent the below messages?

[WARN] Maximum number of nodes in Dependency Map model exceeded, discarding new node

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : Introscope

Cause

SOA Dependency Map  feature has been obsolete but still active, we are planning to remove it completely in the meantime you can manually disable it.

Resolution

1. Stop the Enterprise Manager.

2. Change to the <EM_Home>/ext/xmltv directory and delete the following files:

ws.overview.tv.xml
ws.wsdeviation.tv.xml

3. Change to the <EM_Home>/product/enterprisemanager/plugins directory and delete the following files:

com.wily.introscope.soa.tracefilters.common_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.tracefilters.em_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymap.common.nl1_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymap.common_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymap.nl1_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymap_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.deviationmetrics_10.7.0.jar

4. Change to the <EM_Home>/ws-plugins directory and delete the following files:

com.wily.introscope.soa.crossprocessviewer.workstation.nl1_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.crossprocessviewer.workstation_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymap.common.nl1_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymap.common_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymap.ui.nl1_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymap.ui_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymetrics.typeviewer.nl1_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.dependencymetrics.typeviewer_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.tracefilters.common_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.tracefilters.workstation.nl1_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.soa.tracefilters.workstation_10.7.0.jar
com.wily.introscope.ui.tomsawyer_10.7.0.jar

5. cleanup the SOA dependency map from all Collectors (remove data\dependencymap)  

6. Start the Enterprise Manager.
