Issue/Introduction

We are running Spectrum in a single (non-fault tolerant) environment.  We have noticed that when the SpectroSERVER is shutdown, sometimes old alarms will be regenerated upon SpectroSERVER startup.  These old alarms should no longer exist, but for whatever reason they keep reappearing after SpectroSERVER shutdown and startup.

Environment

Release : 21.2.x

Component : Spectrum Alarm

Cause

Code flaw in Spectrum alarms that would not always remove the alarm from the alarms database when it was cleared.

Resolution

Root Cause has been identified and the fix will be scheduled in the next Spectrum release 22.2.2.

Resolved in 22.2.2 release.

Symptom: New alarms are getting generated when the SpectroSERVER is restarted.
Resolution: No new alarms are now generated when the SpectroSERVER is restarted. (DE530495, 33051023, 22.2.2)
