Issue/Introduction

Is it necessary to go through the CAISAG process when doing an ADDON configuration of AUDIT?

Resolution

No.

AUDIT is a batch only product. The software (executable load modules) is already in CAGJLOAD, even if AUDIT has not been configured.

To configure a CV to be able to run AUDIT, all that is needed is to ensure that the following line in the *.CUSTOM.SRCLIB(RHDCPINT) member is uncommented and re-assemble and link RHDCPINT:

         #DEFPINT DBAUDIT        CA IDMS/DB AUDIT

However, the CAISAG process can be used, and if it is, it should generate the JCL to do only that.
