TPX - Session Management

Issue/Introduction

If a new message or bulletin arrives for a user, he gets the information "Check Messages" in the lower right of his TPX Main menu. That message is displayed even if the user has no access to TPXMAIL. Users without access to TPXMAIL do not know how to react on this information.

Resolution

The TPX-Administrator can allow users to access TPXMAIL to review messages and Bulletins sent for them.

The Administrator can restrict the usage of TPXMAIL by appropriate Command Authority settings.

For that purpose an User Administrator need to enter TPXADMIN, select 1, then select 5 (Command Authorization Class - CMDT), select the group and the class the user is assigned to. If a class is used which contains in the second panel only 'N' then only reading of mails is allowed.
