Issue/Introduction

A U3333 abend may occur in the GENLMPSV module during the License
Management Program (LMP) keys check, if Vantage exploits zIIP 
processors (i.e. the Vantage system parameter ZIIPIT is set to Y).

 

This SYSMOD ensures that no zIIP abends occur during the LMP check.

 

SYMPTOMS:
The following messages appear in the JESMSGLG part of the Vantage STC
log (there can be a different module instead of VANCZIIP):

Resolution

This problem is solved by applying the LT06996 test apar

or

Set ZIIPIT (N) and restart vantage as a circumvention of the problem.

 

Technical Support of Broadcom company should be contacted to obtain the test apar.
