WCCP settings lost when swapping a NIC

Issue/Introduction

WCCP settings are lost when swapping a network interface card (NIC).

Cause

An interface is tied to the service group within the configuration, as below. If that interface is removed from the ProxySG, the associated WCCP service group is removed.

Resolution

Take a backup of the WCCP settings prior to swapping an interface.

Reconfigure the service group after installing the new NIC.
