Issue/Introduction
Message "JRE libraries missing or not compatible" is received when trying to install/apply the latest fix for XCOM for Linux.
Environment
XCOM™ Data Transport® for Linux PC
Cause
Group "xcomadm" didn't have proper permissions to the following logs:
'CA_XCOM_Data_Transport_r11.6_SP01_(64-bit)_Install_07_26_xxxx_11_28_24.log'
and
xcominstaller.log
Resolution
Provide the proper access to the installer logs.
Additional Information
Enabling LAX_DEBUG=true to debug the installer can be helpful in determining what is causing the problem. For example:
export LAX_DEBUG=true
sh XCLX86_XCOMPATCH_r116xxxxx_64.bin > /tmp/debug.out 2>&1
NOTE: Version 12.0 for XCOM for Linux is available and this resolution can be used when applying maintenance there.
