Sysctl.conf changes get reverted in vAPP

Issue/Introduction

When updating /etc/sysctl.conf parameters, the changes seemed to get reverted and are shown commented out.

 

Cause

Anything written between sections

 

# Controls source route verification

# CA Technologies - START #
###########################

 

and 

 

#########################
# CA Technologies - END #
#########################

 

are overwritten by the startup scripts in vAPP. 

Resolution

Any changes that you need to make to sysctl.conf must be made before or after the CA Controls  source section
