A new IBM 3494 Tape Library has been added but the DYNAMCMS TDYNIBM synchronization does ignore all Volsers.

Issue/Introduction

A new IBM 3494 VTS Library has been added into the Dynam/T for z/VM configuration and all required changes have been implemented, but all VOLSERs located in the new IBMLIB libname  in Scratch Category C are ignored by the DYNAMCMS TDYNIBM synchronization between the Library and the Dynam catalog (CAICATL) ... 

EXAMPLE: Of configuration changes made:

Resolution

After changes to the DTPARMS ASSEMBLE file have been made, Activator automatically regenerates the Dynam/T Modules. However, the System Adapter Modules must also be regenerated to incorporate the updated DTPARMS configuration.

To accomplish this, it is required to execute the following to bring it into status COMPLETE:

For Dynam/T for z/VM r3.0 execute this CIS Task: Y430I003 Gen. System Adapter Modules   INCOMPLETE 09/02/03

For Dynam/T for z/VSE Extension (DYNVM), execute: TQINST EXEC
