Computer Status log client count does not match Home page

Issue/Introduction

When looking at Monitors -> Logs -> Computer Status logs, even for past year, the client count of returned clients is significantly different from what the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) shows for Total Endpoints on the Home page.

Environment

Environment contains non-persistent VDI clients

Cause

There are offline non-persistent VDI clients in the SEPM

Resolution

This is expected functionality as offline non-persistent VDI clients are filtered out of this report and those clients will not count towards license usage as long as they are properly marked as non-persistent.
