Launching OneClick from oneclick.jnlp fails with: Cannot determine a valid Java Home

Issue/Introduction

When I logged into OneClick server/portal and click the START CONSOLE and it fails to launch.  (Download the oneclick.jnlp and double click it)

Environment

Release : 20.2, 21.2

Component : Spectrum OneClick

Cause

Automated JRE install/update did not properly install leaving JRE's environment in a bad state. Found that the JRE (32bit 1.8.0_341) was
  updated on 8/5 9:11 PM, however, this install seems to have failed and the JRE was not working correctly on the system.

Resolution

 

Installed a different JRE (64bit 1.8.0_331), which installed successfully (Java Applet and Registry keys are now present). Once
   this was done we needed to re-associate the .jnlp extension to the correct launcher
