What is needed in order to update Symantec Installation Manager on systems without an internet connection?
Resolution
First, run Symantec Installation Manager on a SMP with an internet connection, and upgrade SIM if needed. After upgrade completes, copy the installer (symantecinstallationmanagersetup.exe) and symantec_v2.pl.xml.zip from production system and then proceeded to upgrade SIM.
Files should be copied from and to: ..\Program Files\Altiris\Symantec Installation Manager\Installs\Altiris
