SQLI.Vara object on the promptset on the workflow does not work.

Issue/Introduction

The preview of a value provided by a prompt set does not show the value, instead an exception is thrown:

Wrong SQL statement in 'VARA.SEC_SQLI.33125280'. DB error: 'U00003754 Database-error in SQLI-variable: 'U00003590 UCUDB - DB error: 'SQLExecDirect', 'ERROR ', '22018', 'Conversion failed when converting the varchar value '&CLIENT#' to data type smallint.''

Cause

Design.

The prompt set was created with text fields.

 

Only combo boxes provide the functionality "dynamic reload"

Resolution

Only prompt sets of type combo box with the option dynamic reload provide this feature.
