Allocation Timeline delay in refreshing data - Modern UX

Issue/Introduction

The "Staff" menu of the Modern UX provides two tabs - "Staff Grid" and "Allocation Timeline". When Allocation is edited in the "Staff Grid" for a resource, it does not immediately get reflected in the "Allocation Timeline" tab. Sometimes it takes about 5 minutes for this data to get updated. Why is this?

Resolution

"Time Slicing Sync" job updates this data in the bottom section of the "Allocation Timeline" view. This job is by default scheduled to run every 5 minutes. This is an expected behaviour.
