Office 365 Securlet cannot scan locked sites

Issue/Introduction

 Securlet cannot scan the content of a locked site and receives a 423 error.

Cause

In Microsoft 365, a global admin or SharePoint admin can change the site to a lock state. When a SharePoint site is in the lock state, this site will reject the Office 365 Securlet scanning.

Resolution

No action is needed, but if the Securlet receives a 423 (locked) error for a site, it will not attempt to scan this site for the rest of the day. However, if the site is unlocked, the Securlet can resume scanning the next day without manual intervention.
