Unable to discover Endpoint

Issue/Introduction

While discovering endpoint in PIM console, we are getting error as "Failed to retrieve list of users from endpoint" and we are able to do telnet between PIM endpoint and endpoint.

 

 

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : PAM SERVER CONTROL ENDPOINT UNIX/LINUX

Cause

Privileged Account Discovery fails on hardened Operating System.

Resolution

We will not be able to discover accounts in hardened OS, if this is a business requirement, do file in a product enhancement request under the ideation tab in the Broadcom Communities.
