Installing a Windows robot for UIM fails with a message about VCRUNTIME140.dll

Issue/Introduction

While performing the robot installation (V9.33)on windows server (Microsoft Hyper-V server 2019), installation encountered with the following error VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found, which refers to C++ package repair.

 

Environment

Release : 20.4

Component : UIM - ROBOT

Resolution

nimsoft-robot.exe resulted in the VCRUNTIME140.dll in spite of the fact VC 15 to 22 redistributable is installed. 

nimsoft-robot-x64.exe does not result in the VCRUNTIME140.dll error.  

So be sure to use nimsoft-robot-x64.exe and not nimsoft-robot.exe
