Message Service Server for MTC-A and MOI

Issue/Introduction

We are implementing MTC-A and currently configuring the message service server address space (ZMSSTART).

However, MOI is being used on this environment so there is already a Message Service Server active in the enviroment.

Can the ZMSSTART task be used by both MOI and MTC-A?

Resolution

We do not recommend sharing the hub between MTCA and MOI. The MOI hub gets a lot of traffic and the interactions between MTCA and MOI traffic have not been thoroughly tested. It is much safer to deploy a standalone hub on z/OS for MTCA.
