OPS/MVS Event Management & Automation

We had OPSMAIN just start and stop, after IPL. We couldn't find any errors or messages, we found that we forgot to update with LPA OPSAEX module. Do we have to copy OPSAEX from CCLXLOAD to our LPALIB? We were wondering if LPA is really needed for OPS/MVS.

Release : 14.0

Component : OPS/MVS

Putting the module OPSAEX in the LPA is optional. However, if you have this module there, it has to match the release of the OPS subsystem that is running. Having the OPSAEX module from a previous release in the LPA may cause unpredictable results.

This subject is discussed in the chapter "Configuration Tasks for the Base Component", section "LPA Usage Efficiency":
