Question #1. --- How often are PAM client packages released?   

Answer #1. No Set time.

Question #2. How is the customer notified of an upcoming new client package (as a part of new release on Broadcom Portal or as a Solution patch? 

Answer #2. Customers can also subscribe to receive release announcements (instead of manually / proactively checking) at https://support.broadcom.com/user/notifications.html. Customers can check proactively if the new GA Release or Solution Patches have a newer version a client package. Release notes or Related notes will detail the reason for the release.
