GROUPS XSSYSTEM - team members see diff results on the SV GROUPS panel;  some users see the defined XSSYSTEM lpars;  some dont

Resolution

This was the solution:   

SECURITY
USER GROUPS  (Default, Admin...
DEFAULT
RESOURCES
GROUPS  
  cleared out all the lines except for first line "newresource" 

After a cycle of SYSVIEW,  all the defined XSSYSTEM were displayed in GROUPS.

As for setting ADMIN dynamically, you can make the update to the *.CNM4SCFG(GSVXGSVX) member and alter the ADMIN status, then issue command 'F SYSVIEW,RELOAD SCFG' to bring in the new settings.  You can also use the ASADMIN display and enter 'F' on the SYSVIEW MAIN task line with 'RELOAD SCFG' in the PARMS column.

 

When changing the security group you will also need to make the change in security as well, insuring you are in the ADMIN group.  And also removing when testing.
