Issue/Introduction

We have CMK (Customer Managed Keys) encryption for attachments enabled in our Rally SaaS Subscription with the KMS Config controlled via IronCoreLabs.

We are trying to add new users to IronCoreLabs but the link which is being sent to each new user's email address results in an error (Invite token was invalid. Please re-request an invite and try again). I have retried sending the activation link but the user gets the same error when trying to activate.

Please can you liaise with IornCoreLabs to troubleshoot and resolve this?

Cause

CMK or Customer managed Keys enterprise feature that provides our customers with complete control of their data in Rally using encryption keys.

The customer is upgrading the old configuration to a new vendor configuration.

Resolution

You do not need to change anything on the Rally side of the Configuration Broker when rolling a key. However, do not remove the old key permanently until a full Encrypt Data process has been run, as it is needed to decrypt the existing data before it is re-encrypted with the new key.
