cdm cluster section missing after redeployment of cdm probe to cluster node

Issue/Introduction

I had an issue with my CDM probe and had to reinstall it on one of the nodes of my cluster.

The cdm probe is running now but it doesn't have any <cluster> section in the cdm.cfg and no matter what I do I can't seem to get this section into the .cfg.

Other nodes have a <cluster> section in their cdm.cfg but it doesn't seem to reappear if you have removed it .

 

Environment

Release : 20.4

Component : UIM - CLUSTER

Resolution

The <cluster> section will be automatically updated by the cluster probe when the node in question next becomes active (cluster failover).

The cluster probe detects the switch from passive to active and updates the cdm.cfg immediately at that time.

No action is needed, this will happen automatically on the next failover event.
