The CAGJXML configuration library is suddenly filled with hundreds of new members that have the same names as PTFs.
Is this to be expected?

Cause
This is correct.
It is a result of the new IDMS support for the Product PTF Analysis feature in SYSVIEW that is first added by PTF LU03871.
