Issue/Introduction

I am planning to enable External Security (RACF) for CA7 Datacom MUF (CA7MUF). 

I know CA7 user IDs going through the CA7 panels (facilities) accessing Job info will not be impacted. They will have the same access as before through CA7.  

Question. How about Users IDs that go through CA7IDASH, will they be impacted ?

Resolution

When you enable External Security for the CA7 Datacom MUF (CA7MUF), iDash users are not impacted by the securing of the Datacom MUF.   The users of iDash are not affected.  However, the USERID assigned to the CA7IDASH STC MUF will need read access to the muf database.  These are the two different concerns you must be aware of.
