Issue/Introduction

Trying to configure Automic Details in CA Service Catalog, but fails. Error mesage:

Error occured while trying to connect, please check your configuration and server availability.

The servers are reachable from both the ends.

# Catalog-> administration->configuration-> Automic Automation

java.io.IOException: Different versions on server (21.0) and client (12.2.).

# Upgrade Automic  to 21.0.3 HF2

For more details on hotfix on Automic Engine, please follow these steps below:
  • At https://downloads.automic.com/downloads 
  • In the top menu select Downloads - Component Downloads
  • select the Component named Automation Engine
  • select version 21.0.3 HF2
  • download selected flavor
  • download also the database definition file named  Automation.Engine_db_21_0_3+hf.2
Follow the instructions to apply the service pack or hotfix.

Use Service Manager UI to shut down your AE system.
Extract the files and store them in the proper directory but avoid overwriting the configuration files (normally *.ini)
