WSS Agent is not ignoring proxy settings when in known LAN location even when "ignore proxy settings" option is selected in WSS Portal.
All the configuration settings, including "ignore proxy settings" come from CTC calls, and even when we see certain flags being present in initial CTC call, they are not enforced at this point.
For these flags to be taken into account, and for configuration to be parsed, the WSSA Agent needs an ACTIVE response from our control pod, and it shuts down completely and does not parse the configuration when it sees PASSIVE response.
This is per design and the way around is to use the install-time machine configuration options per Broadcom Techdoc "Install WSS Agent-Win CLI".
