Can the defaults on the CA 7 CPU JOB DEFINITION (DB.1) screen be changed?

Resolution

If these defaults are not what you prefer, you can change them for all new job adds. 

If you have a DEFAULTJOB= on the DBASE statement in the Initialization file (named on the UCC7IN DD statement in the CA 7 procedure), then that is the name of the job that sets the defaults on the DB.1 screen. If you have no DEFAULTJOB= on the DBASE statement, then the default job name that sets the defaults for the DB.1 screen is DEFAULTS. You can update the DEFAULTS job fields on the DB.1 screen and this will change the default value for this field on any new job add.
