Rally user unable to pin additional work items

Issue/Introduction

When trying to pin a new work item, the error "A maximum of 15 items can be pinned" appears even though there are fewer work items showing on the pinned menu

Cause

This can be caused if the user has pinned items that are 

• Deleted
• In a closed project
• In a project the user no longer has access to

The preference that the pinned items are stored in does not dynamically update to clear out inaccessible work items.

Resolution

This has been resolved with a code fix from development.  It is now possible to remove inaccessible work items from the pinned items dropdown.
