Issue/Introduction

The recently configured APM cloud proxy service is not starting. There is a series of specific errors in the cloudproxy.log (attached):

 

INFO 18949 --- [nioEventLoopGroup-3-29] c.c.a.c.i.IsengardProxyFrontendHandler   : [id: 0x9a99b399, L:/X.X.X.X:5001 - R:/X.X.X.X:34248] connect to wss://apmgw.dxi-na1.saas.broadcom.com/transport/socket via [id: 0x870b5a50] has failed. Reason: io.netty.channel.StacklessClosedChannelException

 

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APMITG

Resolution

We did the following..

Edit application.yml and commented out this line

Isengard server port (default: 5001)

Stop all APM related process on MOM running on Linux 7.9

Start the CloudProxy and no longer see the error.
