How to identify installed version of VAIM

Issue/Introduction

After installing VAIM 12.9, in this case, the Japanese language version, it lists the version as 12.8:

This is despite using the correct installer for VAIM release 12.9 - DVD01152325U.iso

Environment

SystemEDGE / Virtual Assurance for IM 12.9

Resolution

You have the correct version (12.9) but the Japanese release has not had the version marker updated.

To confirm, check under:

Check Administration > CA Virtual Assurance Services

You should see the version there. For example:

Also, you can run the following command which should identify the version actually installed:

diagsysedge –Q

And you can check the sysedge.cf file:

C:\Users\Public\CA\SystemEDGE\port1691\sysedge.cf
