Issue/Introduction

Have installed XCOM for Linux 11.6 on server and upgraded to SP01, but it still shows SP00.

Resolution

On this occasion the user reported that after completely removing XCOM from the server and installing SP01 again, the version is now showing SP01 i.e.
# xcomqm -r
xcomqm: CA XCOM Data Transport r11.6 16083 SP01 64bit (for <no SNA support>)

Support also advises to install the latest XCOM for Linux PTF/patch to ensure the installation is at latest maintenance level.
After login to the Support Portal, from the "My Dashboard" page use "My Downloads" to access the Solutions page for "XCOM Data Transport for Linux (PC) LINUX -ALL 11.6".

NOTE: The fixes in distributed XCOM PTFs are cumulative so only need to install the latest PTF to pick up all the fixes since the SP01 GA.

Additional Information

If not able to resolve the problem open a Support Case and upload the following

  1. Run this command and upload the output:
    xcomqm -r
  2. Files:
    a. $XCOM_HOME/xcom.log
    b. All *.log files from directory $XCOM_HOME/Uninstaller/Logs/
    c. All *.log files from directory $XCOM_HOME/UninstallPatch/Logs
