UIM and CABI (Jasperserver) DB requirements

Issue/Introduction

Planning for the (new) installation of UIM 20.4, as UIM 20.4 is compatible with SQL 2019,

However, as we would need to install CABI (Jasperserver) as well for dashboards, does the latter (CABI) also require it's own DB.

If so would it mean that I would need to maintain two (2) SQL servers as CABI 7.5 (assume this is the latest version) is not compatible with SQL 2019

Resolution

The upcoming version of CABI 8 bundled with JRS 8 will be compatible with SQL Server 2019.

CABI 8.0 will be released along with UIM 20.4 CU4 cumulative update
