Issue/Introduction

Does Database Analyzer for IMS support input from an image copy created by the 'Database Image Copy 2' utility, DFSUDMT.

Resolution

Database Analyzer input can only be one of the following:

  • The actual database data set or cluster.
    An image copy created by the batch or online image copy utilities, Database Copier or IMS Image Copy utility (DFSUDMP0).

An image copy created by the 'Database Image Copy 2' utility is not supported.
